The Myth of the Fearless Leader: The “fearless leader” is not only unrealistic—it’s counterproductive. Fear is an inherent part of leadership and decision-making, but it doesn’t have to derail progress. In this transformative keynote, Dr. Jackman Hampton unpacks the myth of the fearless leader and exposes a new path forward—one where leaders and their teams can move beyond the instinctual responses of fight, flight, or freeze.

Drawing from her research, emotional intelligence and behavioral psychology, this session explores how fear affects leadership decisions, team dynamics, and organizational culture. Leaders will discover how to recognize fear-based behaviors in themselves and their teams, and, more importantly, how to develop strategies to move through fear with clarity, courage, and composure.
